Gateway protocol
Guide to Controls (BG 83/2023) written by John Marrow and published by BSRIA in June 2023, defines states: ‘In BMS networks it is sometimes necessary to communicate with devices which have different protocols. A gateway device acts as an interpreter and has the capability to send and receive messages between devices which don’t speak the same language or protocol.’
